One of the benefits of photo chemically machining a shielding enclosure is the possibility of incorporating precisely etched bend score lines in the flat blank design to facilitate the final forming of the enclosure. Such score lines, while adding no cost or additional time to the fabrication of the flat blank, allow the enclosure to be precisely formed without the need for any additional form tooling -- thus avoiding the costs and delays associated with such tooling.
Variety of enclosure designs including single piece enclosures, shields with removable covers and multi-piece enclosures that feature internal walls.
For enclosures less than 120 mm by 32 mm, Lancaster Metals also offers tape and
reel packaging.
